About SDev 24/7
SDev 24/7 is a project run by four friends and their fellow concerned Millennial comrades writing about environmental degradation, policy, culture, and climate change.
Our name is inspired by the late 1990’s music group, S Club 7, except with “SDev” standing for “Sustainable Development.” What is Sustainable Development, you ask? We believe it's the future of the world and the planet.
So bring it!

Monica is a recent graduate of Columbia University where she majored in Sustainable Development. She writes about international issues and international development. She hates scary movies. A lot. Though she loves New York City, her adopted hometown, she currently lives in France and is seeking out all the cheese that can be feasably consumed.
Ryan is a recent graduate of Columbia University with a BA in Sustainable Development. He writes about policy, activism, energy, and corporate sustainability. As a pragmatist, he likes activism but dislikes #slacktivism. He is based in New York City and is currently embracing cosmopolitanism to the extreme.
Malini grew up in beautiful small-town Maryland, where she rarely thought about the environment. Then she moved to a concrete jungle, decided to study environmental engineering, and has since not spent a day without dwelling on technology, policy, and the environment. Unsurprisingly, she likes to write about the intersections of those (three) spheres. After graduating from Columbia University, she promptly moved out to San Francisco to put her degree to use in air quality consulting.
Sam is a recent graduate of Columbia University with a BA in Sustainable Development and Political Science. She is a recovering survivor of a science and technology magnet high school, but she likes to use her powers for good and write about climate science and policy. Sam currently resides in Peru, where she thinks a lot about the planet and our place on it during heralmuerzo hour.
